Anna Pritchard is a balanda (non-Indigenous) Queenslander who holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Master of Speech Pathology, and Bachelor of Health and Human Services (Leadership) with Professional Honours. With 14 years’ experience as a speech pathologist – including seven years (and counting) in the Northern Territory – she has worked across urban, rural, and remote communities in QLD, NT, WA, ACT, and internationally.
Anna also serves as Co-Chair of the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) NT Branch, Chairs the Primary Health Network Clinical Council, is a Steering Committee member for the Speech Pathology Paediatric Indigenous Network (SPPIN), and contributes to the SPA Mental Health and Trauma Advisory Group. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the University of Southern Queensland and a Casual Lecturer with Charles Darwin University. Across these roles, her work focuses on public health, governance, workforce development, and culturally responsive service delivery, with a strong commitment to improving wellbeing, community connection, and equitable access to care.Anna loves living in the Territory – especially the wet season – and values the strong sense of community, connection, and diversity it offers. She is passionate about person-centred, trauma-informed, and community-led approaches that support people to live meaningful and connected lives. Outside of work, she enjoys being a below-average fisherwoman, has recently discovered the joy of line dancing, and is a devoted Jack Russell enthusiast.
