Lauren Dunsmore

Lauren Dunsmore is the current Treasurer and Board Member of TEMHCO, bringing over three years of governance experience and seven years of leadership in the social services and health sectors. In her roles across the sector, she plays a vital role in connecting policy, practice, and place linking government priorities with community realities to optimise outcomes through a strong locational lens.

Deeply embedded in the Northern Territory’s regional and community landscape, Lauren works to understand the interplay of programs and services and strengthen cross-sector relationships that support sustainable local impact. Her leadership at TEMHCO reflects a strong commitment to the organisation’s mission of empowering people with shared experience to live full and meaningful lives. She actively upholds TEMHCO’s values of culture, acceptance, responsiveness, and empowerment, fostering respectful, person-centred support that honours autonomy, dignity, and connection.

Through this work, Lauren ensures national initiatives and local advocacy combine to keep people supported, reduce stigma, and strengthen the wellbeing of communities across the region.
